There were tears in my eyes when He left.
A tear-studded garland was placed on my chest.

I saw His tears but failed to recognise what it meant.
I could not understand whether it was love or not.

He left silently and the deep silence that lingered on
proved He had left.

Whenever I think of Him,
that bodiless entity comes.

He didn't forget me
I also did not forget Him.
It would by lying,
if I said I had forgotten Him.

I did not see the tears in Your eyes,
and could not understand Your language.

I could not follow the expectations
contained in Your love.
Silently He went,
the silence says so.
Whenever I remember Him,
