You are the moonlight
in the tiny glowworm.
And therefore, I have fallen in love with You.
Radiating Your divine effulgence,
illuminating entities all around,
You dispel darkness
from within and from without.
When there was cimmerian darkness all over
and the universe was nonexistent,
when heaps of static blackness constantly used to be ejected,
into the gloom of nothingness,
You applied the soothing balm of Your divine glow.
Since then, even to this day
You have constantly been pouring out
the sweet nectar of Your heart.
When there was nothing in the universe
in time immemorial,
when nothing like life, death, day or night existed,
only You,
O Lord,
the timeless entity,
were present.
You continue to exist
and move on in an eternal flow.
