When I saw You,
there was honey in mango flowers
and kimshuka flowers were bursting with colour,
in anticipation to attract fragrance.

Parul and shimul flowers sat by one another,
narrating events in the golden light.
Small bakul flowers were oscillating on the swing,
smiling and intoxicated with fragrance.

How much time has since passed?
How many nights of mine languished away in darkness?
Now in dream I mentally wonder

what a sweet day may have arrived.
