The smile on His face speaks of love.
His two eyes are full of affection.
That stealer of my heart,
displayed external harshness on me.
Yet, my mind longed to look at Him more and more.
No matter how much I told him
that I would forget Him,
He repeatedly told me to forget Him
and not to turn my eyes on Him.
Unable to forget Him,
I kept my eyes open,
discarding all shyness
I remained intoxicated.
Irrespective of how often I told him
that I would not give Him anything,
He repeatedly told me
that He did not expect anything.
I could not hold back
and, overwhelmingly,
offered my all in meditation.
