You came flowing with effulgence.
Yet I did not understand You would leave.

As my pleasure receded, sorrow arose.
Who would have ever thought this to happen?

You came in the silent night,
on a quiet path on which the petals of jasmine had dropped,
riding the golden chariot of victory.

I did not know who were You looking for.
I imagined not You would snatch away my mind.
To me, this arrival of Yours was beyond imagination,
that blissful dream beyond language and thought.

As the autumn storm blew,
He went away like a restless cloud.
Where did He go?
How may I get Him?
I do not know what these feelings are,
emerging in the sweet ideation of this illusory play.
