As You have today called me,
how can I stay home?

I cannot understand
what magic pervades Your melody.
In sleep, while awake and in dream
Your flute constantly resounds
in my mental arena.

I want to avoid You but,
as You are seated in my heart,
how would that be possible?

I know only little about musical octaves.
You remain beyond it all, O Lord!
By Your rhythm, song and blissful melody,
You immerse me in higher realms,
transcending this world.

..............................................

It is difficult to stay in the house today,
as You have called me.
It is hard for me to realise,
how You are playing magic
in Your ragas and raginiis.

Your flute sings on continuously in my mind,
in sleep, dream
and my awakened state of mind.
I want to see You sitting in my heart.
But how is it practically feasible?
Please tell me.

Whatever I know about musical scales is as nothing.
You are beyond the reach of it all.
Your songs and rhythms bring bliss,
and transcend me beyond all lokas.
