I attained You today,
in my mind,
with new adornments.

My mind had been engaged
in numerous works
and idling of various kinds.

The path on which I was moving
was serpentine like,
and, day and night,
covered with darkness.

By the pull of Your love,
I looked at You,
and the wheels of my cart turned.
My dry river became flooded.

Beyond light, there was darkness
and even more:
all around me pitch darkness prevailed.

You came in light,
in more and more light,
and, in whichever direction I looked,
only pleasant feelings overcame me.

You won my mind and filled my life.
With Your love,
my heart became filled.
