You came on a full moon day.
On that day,
the moon was playing hide and seek
with the clouds.

The far off galaxy in the sky appeared
as if drawn near by sandal paste.

It seemed as if a new swan had lost its path.
Many a moonlit night passed by.
The seat of my heart remained vacant.

Hearing the sound of Your footsteps,
my heart became filled with nectar,
and that same swan came again, recognising the path.

When You came the moon was full.
It was playing hide and seek
with the shifting clouds.

The galaxies in the distant skies
appeared as Your artwork.
The newly arrived swan
lost its way.

You came and went away so many times,
but still my heart was empty.

Upon hearing Your footsteps
my heart became filled with joy.
The swan then found again its way.
