At the end of the ocean of knowing and not knowing,
I attained You.

Breaking the bondage of beyond and within,
I held Your heart.

I did not know philosophy,
neither had I affection in my heart.

What is essence and what is superfluous;
I could understand only by Your grace.
That mercy of Yours, I have now attained.

Light came in the night,
destroying darkness to almost nil.

In that isolated and silent great night,
I kindled the lamp of memory.
