In the autumn morning I have treaded
a garland of night jasmine flowers washed in dewdrops.
With this desire alone, I have come.

I have threaded a garland of night jasmine flowers
when the white clouds were floating in the sky above,
as if covered with honey.

The smiling lilies and loti
swayed with fragrant bliss.
Sitting in that atmosphere, intoxicated with joy,
I threaded a garland for You.

But my garlands are not simply woven
by picking up fallen flowers,
for, mingled with each petal,
is a song of compassion and the love of the dawn.

The whole morning, neglecting all my work,
I have brought this garlands for You.
With a gentle laugh, with a heart full of love.
