I thought You would not come.
I thought You would not listen to the voice of the poor.
I also thought that You would remember only those
who perform Your worship with the elaborate rituals of the sixteen aspects.
My mistake is shattered.
I have now understood You as being attainable only by love.
Neither oblation nor libation, nor offerings can attract You.
Only through purity of mind is Your real worship performed.
I do not recognise artificial distinctions of society.
Nor should there be deprivation of anyone.
By bringing the light of hope to the downtrodden,
Your sadhana is carried out.
