Your love is merely by word of mouth.
You heed not my earnest yearnings.
I search the deepest recess of my heart
with the teachings I have learnt from You
and yet
You make restless my mind
and in its turbid waters
You gleefully hide.
You arrange this festivity
of colour and form
and engage Yourself therein,
smiling mischievously behind Your sport.
Without a glimmer Your grace, my Lord,
who can glimpse Your mysterious face?
