O Lord, on the auspicious occasion of New Year's Day, with overwhelming joy, I express my
reverence to You. In my life, with multiplicities of colours, into unit mind, You pervade
filling it. You have provided me with necessities of life like shelter, food, water
light, flowers and fruits. You have given me breeze, cool shade, and affection for
satiating fulfilment. You provided warmth of fire during cold nights, fragrance along
with flowers. You have granted me strength of intellect to face the enemies. What have You
not given me graciously, O Lord? If I forget the path and get engrossed in material
beings, You pardon me again and again.
