I searched You inside and outside.
Yet You did not appear to me.

I went to many known and unknown places,
to pilgrim waters,
visiting temples after temples.
Yet I did not find Your form,
O formless one.

I did not find You in mountains and caves,
nor at the altar of my own deity.
At the end I saw You smiling within myself,
O ever unknown one.
