I have forgotten
when my journey started.
I do not remember
how many thorns I have stepped on.
In many an intense heat
did I get burned.
In many a heavy rain,
did I get drenched.
In many a beautiful autumn
I remained intoxicated
and sang a song full of earnestness.
In innumerable golden fields
did I smile
when winter passed.
In numerous cold nights
did I shiver
when icy snowfalls descended.
In many a floral heap
did I wander during springtime,
and danced full of impatience.
Much did I cry,
wounded by worries.
I became curved
by loads of pain.
Yet, I continued looking at You.
O my Lord!
