If You do not come
what is point of lighting my lamp?
What is the use
of carrying my flowers from the water or the land?
Discussing, selecting and utilising
various tunes and melodies in my songs is useless.
Expecting Your arrival,
the garland of flowers,
seems to have been
vainly prepared for Your welcome.
I was determined not to think about You.
Yet, Your ideation keeps returning.
Hence, in expectation of Your arrival,
I look onto the path,
keeping the door of my heart open.
----------------------------------------
If You do not come,
what is the use of illuminating the lamp?
What is the use of plucking colourful flowers
in land and water?
What is the use of singing songs and tunes?
What is the use of the flower garland,
which was meant for You?
I decided not to think about You, but I still do.
I look unto the path in expectation of You,
keeping the door of my heart open.
